Troubleshooting login issues

There are a few reasons that you may be having issues logging in to your MoonPay account:

  • Your device might not be up-to-date and unable to support the latest MoonPay app version.
  • You have not yet whitelisted [email protected] for the sign-in verification code.
  • You could be attempting to log in through a partner site.

If you’re using a smartphone or tablet

Try the following steps:

  • Restart the device. Switch from WiFi network to cellular data or vice-versa.
  • Check if there are any Operating System updates for your device.
  • Make sure you’ve got the latest version of the MoonPay app in the app store.
  • Android only: Clear your mobile app cache.
    • Open your phone settings → MoonPay app → Clear cache
    • If the option isn't available, uninstall and reinstall the MoonPay mobile app

What if I didn’t get the sign-in verification code?

If you're having trouble getting your sign-in code, try these steps:

  1. Check your junk, spam, or ‘Other’ folder for our sign-in verification email.
  2. Make sure to add [email protected] to your email whitelist. Then, try signing in
    again to get the verification code.

If these steps don't help and you still don't have the verification email, contact our support team. Just click the Help button at the bottom-right of your page.

I’m trying to log in, but it says that I don’t have an account

If you get a message saying you don't have an account, you might have previously used MoonPay via a partner. So we’d suggest trying to log into that partner’s service first.

I get an “unexpected error occurred” message when trying to sign up
