🔀 What happens behind the scenes?
Deposit Crypto is a key feature of MoonPay Commerce's Checkout. It enables users to seamlessly send supported currencies from their wallet or exchange directly into the dApp they are interacting with. If the dApp requires a specific asset, MoonPay Commerce will automatically handle any necessary bridging and swapping to ensure the funds are converted into the correct compatible currency.
To support this flow, MoonPay Commerce generates a Deposit Address where users can deposit their funds. Once received, our tech processes the deposit, performs any required conversions, and delivers the destination currency to the user’s dApp account or address.
📉 What do price impact and slippage mean?
These show the difference between:
The market price when you start the deposit
The final conversion rate after processing
Typical range: 0.1%–1%, depending on volatility and network conditions.
⛽ Do I need extra gas fees?
No — MoonPay Commerce covers gas fees for SPL and ERC-20 tokens.
For example:
Send USDC on Solana without needing SOL
Send USDC on Ethereum without needing ETH

Minimum deposit amounts:
$3 on Solana + EVM networks
$25 for Bitcoin
