Overview
To comply with financial regulations, MoonPay must verify the source of customer funds in certain situations. We understand this process can feel intrusive, but it’s a standard requirement for all regulated financial service providers.
If we need additional information about your source of wealth or source of funds, you’ll see a prompt on your MoonPay app home screen. This verification may be required before withdrawals or when requesting higher account limits.
Note: Source of wealth checks help MoonPay comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, safeguard customers from fraud, and maintain a secure and transparent financial ecosystem.
