We are unable to process your transaction because it does not comply with the UK Crypto Travel Rule. This rule requires us to share information about the sender and receiver of crypto assets with counterparty virtual asset service providers (VASPs).
There are a few reasons why your transaction may have failed:
- You have not confirmed that you own and control the wallet you are sending crypto to.
- You confirmed that you were sending to your own unhosted wallet, but the wallet belongs to a VASP.
- The counterparty VASP (which hosts your wallet) is not reachable, i.e. we are unable to share the required information.
- You have tried to sell crypto that comes from a VASP. This activity is not currently supported.
If you would like to increase your chances of success, please use your own unhosted wallet.
Unhosted wallets are not subject to the same compliance requirements as VASPs, so we are able to process transactions to and from these wallets more easily.
